What Will It Cost?
A small business should expect to invest $750 - $5000 for a custom web site. We charge a flat $100.00 per labor hour for routine work. We will also bill you for any services required to complete your project, such as domain name registration, hosting accounts, and royalties for images or sound clips. We will provide you with a written estimate after determining your needs.Why We Use an Hourly Rate: Some clients know exactly what they want… and some have a committee that keeps changing the focus of the project. By billing you hourly, you only pay for the service you receive.
Project Rate: We understand that some companies require a set price in advance. In such cases we will provide a firm cost for the complete project. Frankly, we will still base the project price on our hourly rate for the estimated time required, but then we'll add in an overage to cover the unexpected during the project. Also, we will strictly adhere to the written project scope. If you change the project requirements we may be unable to complete the new work without a contract addendum. And if the project turns out faster than we estimated, there's no fee adjustment. Hourly rates are usually in your best interest.
Free Consultation / Estimate: This is when our designer will talk to you about your business, your ideas for your web site, and get a feel for the image you want your site to project. After talking to you, we'll give you an estimate of the hours we think the project will require. Once we develop a plan that meets your approval, we will provide you with a written contract that specifies your rights and exactly what you will receive for your investment.
